That is the advice Murray M. and Peggy Schwartz and thousands of other people looking to save money and energy are being told during home energy audits.

"I'm hoping to find out if it makes sense to put more insulation in, especially in the attic and where the major losses of energy are," said Murray Schwartz this week. "At current prices, it would cost over $6,000 to heat this house using the same amount of oil from last year. That's almost double."
