District Heating: A Renewable Energy Solution for our Communities

The Franklin Regional Council of Governments is hosting a public information session with the Danish Board of District Heating and Dr. Morris Pierce from the University of Rochester to discuss District Heating.

- How these community-based systems work
- Why they have been the major source of heating in Denmark for decades.
- Learn about how District Heat can replace individual building heating systems with an efficient, community wide heating network based on clean, local, renewable resources

The Danish Board of District Heating is a private organization representing the key players in the Danish district heating industry and has developed partnerships in more than fifty countries.
