National Grid is offering 0-3% financing up to $15,000 for home energy improvement measures like insulating, installing ENERGY STAR replacement windows, adding high-efficiency heating systems and indirect hot water heaters, or adding solar domestic hot water. Other Notes

CET is required to perform a Building Performance Health and Safety Check in homes with boilers, furnaces, wood stoves or other combustion appliances before and after insulation or air sealing work is done. A carbon monoxide (CO) detector is required as a safety precaution.

Additional measures, such as ventilation may be needed when insulation is installed in the attic.

If active knob and tube wiring is present, a wiring inspection may be required. Measures that receive program incentives from other utility companies are not eligible.

There is a minimum contract amount of $400, which may be higher depending on location and contractor availability.
