The workshop will include a morning classroom session followed by an afternoon field session at Black Earth Compost’s site in Groton.  This no-cost workshop\, conducted in collaboration with James McSweeney of Compost Technical Services and The 131° School of Composting\, will focus on best practices for composting food scraps.  Registration is required. Priority registration is given to the following participants based in Massachusetts:  \n\n\n\n\nOperators of agricultural\, municipal\, and private compost sites that accept off-site food materials\n\n\n\nOperators of small-scale sites that accept off-site food scraps\, such as community garden compost sites   \n\n\n\nOther interested parties considering starting a commercial or community compost site and accepting off-site food materials \n\n\n\n\nIf the workshop reaches capacity\, you will be placed on a waitlist and notified if a spot becomes available.  \n\n\n\n\nRegister now\n\n\n\n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email from RecyclingWorks with further details and an agenda.
