DESCRIPTION:At the request of the Salisbury/Sharon Transfer Station Manager\, the Transfer Station Recycling Advisory Committee (TRAC)\, and the Salisbury and Sharon First Selectmen\, The Center for EcoTechnology will present information about Food Waste Diversion to area businesses and institutions. \nThe Center for EcoTechnology (CET) will share information about resources available to help your business or institution reduce waste by implementing a food waste diversion program. Learn about best practices for collecting food scraps\, donating surplus food\, and contracting for food-waste hauling services. Following the presentation\, businesses and institutions may connect directly with CET staff for further support in developing food waste programs.
