Increased value of your home
Working with an energy expert, you will be guided through the program, which adds a special Solar Access incentive to the existing combination of electric utility, state, and federal incentives for renewable energy. Nowhere else are customers able to combine all of the possible incentives, programs and technical resources under one umbrella to ensure qualification and access to all of the rebates and incentives for this technology. By enrolling in a UMassFive College Credit Union loan, you will own your solar panels and a heat pump and will pay less than you spend now. Solar Access is funded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and the Department of Energy Resources (DOER). Access our free webinar for more information.
Federal: 30% solar tax credit
Massachusetts: 10% solar tax credit, MassCEC heat pump rebate, low interest Mass Solar Loan with a 30% principal reduction of up to $10,500 after installation
Electric Utility: Solar SMART incentives, Mass Save heat pump rebate, no interest HEAT Loan
Solar Access: First 6 monthly payments made for you
Solar panels would be installed at your home and will convert sunlight into electricity to power your house.
Heat pumps use electricity to very efficiently heat and cool your home. Rather than burning fossil fuels to create heat and cool, heat pumps move heat from one place to another – bringing heat into your home in the winter and removing heat in the summer. Heat pump technology advancements now allow for excellent performance even on the coldest and hottest days of the year.
