About the agency:
Springfield Partners for Community Action’s mission is to provide resources that assist people in need with obtaining economic stability, ultimately creating a better way of life. They offer employment support, financial services, and education programs.
The Goal
The goal was to improve Springfield Partners for Community Action’s energy efficiency in its main building, reducing energy consumption and lowering utility bills while minimizing the environmental impact.
The solution
CET conducted a thorough energy assessment, installed water saving measures, pipe wrap, and other weatherization throughout the building. We also handled the paperwork and helped secure funding through Mass Save and CET’s Community Climate Fund to minimize the out-of-pocket cost to the agency.
Additionally, CET helped them secure a grant under the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) Low-Income Services Solar Program (LISSP). Their grant is for over $100,000 to install a rooftop array that will produce enough power annually to account for 100% of their usage. Installation is currently in-progress.

We wouldn’t have been able to do the services to our building that we wanted to without that kind of support.
